Animation is the medium of movement.  This intensive course will introduce students to the basics of animation.  Exploring both digital and analog means for image creation will allow for greater creative freedom and self-expression.  There will be several assignments throughout the course designed to, in summation, be combined into an impressive animation portfolio.  Professional practice, film language, animation fundamentals, animation history and digital practices are all subjects that will be discussed.  At the end of this course, there will be a special screening of the students work.
