This three-week workshop is designed to orient new students to the digital platforms available at the Kansas City Art Institute.  The course covers a range of technical topics including, Mac computer platform, google account access, local server access, scanning, printing, and file types. It also touches on professionalism and digital tools such as graphic design, resumes, Adobe Illustrator basics, and Adobe Photoshop basics. As a final lesson in the orientation, students are encouraged to envision their artistic goals and distill them into business cards.
